Job Description

Infrastructure Management:

• Provisioning and managing Azure resources: This includes creating and configuring virtual machines, storage accounts, networking resources, and other Azure services.

• Implementing infrastructure solutions: Designing and deploying Azure-based solutions that meet specific business requirements.

• Automating infrastructure tasks: Using tools like Azure Automation and PowerShell to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.

• Monitoring and maintaining infrastructure: Proactively monitoring resource usage, performance, and security, and taking corrective actions when needed.

• Troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure issues: Diagnosing and resolving technical problems with Azure resources and services.

Security and Compliance:

• Implementing Azure security best practices: Configuring access controls, identity management, and security policies to ensure the security of cloud resources.

• Performing security audits and vulnerability assessments: Identifying and mitigating potential security risks in the Azure environment.

• Complying with relevant regulations and standards: Ensuring that the Azure environment meets industry-specific compliance requirements.

Performance Optimization and Capacity Planning:

• Monitoring: Monitor resource utilization and performance metrics to identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.

• Infra Optimization: Recommend and implement performance tuning strategies to improve the efficiency and scalability of Azure services.

• Infra Planning: Conduct capacity planning exercises to forecast resource requirements and ensure adequate provisioning of compute, storage, and networking resources.

• Recommending and implementing cost-saving strategies: Proposing solutions like utilizing reserved instances, spot instances, Saving Plans, or alternative pricing models. (Cloud cost optimization is a shared responsibility, not just the responsibility of Cloud Engineers. Other teams, such as developers, product managers, and finance, also have a role to play.)

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

• Documenting effectively: Maintain comprehensive documentation of Azure infrastructure configurations, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.

• knowledge Sharing: Share knowledge and expertise with other team members through training sessions, brown bag sessions, and technical workshops.

• Contribute to the development of best practices, standards, and guidelines for Azure cloud operations and management.

Customer Support and Collaboration:

• Deploying and supporting cloud-based applications: Provide technical assistance and support to internal teams and external customers regarding Azure cloud services, configurations, and troubleshooting.

• Collaborating with other teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, and system administrators to design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure cloud solutions.

Pay: ?50,000.00 - ?80,000.00 per month
