Azure Cloud Engineer

Overview

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Azure Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure services, cloud architecture, automation, and security best practices. This role requires a strong technical background, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using Microsoft Azure.
• Implement and maintain Azure-based solutions, including virtual machines, storage accounts, networking, and identity management.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
• Automate deployment and operational tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python.
• Monitor system performance and security using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Security Center.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices, including identity and access management using Azure AD.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to optimize cloud operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Azure infrastructure.
• Maintain proper documentation of cloud architectures, configurations, and procedures.
• Stay updated with the latest Azure technologies and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in Azure cloud services and infrastructure management.
• Strong understanding of Azure Virtual Machines, Networking (VNet, NSG, VPN), Storage, and Security.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Kubernetes, AKS, Docker) is a plus.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and governance frameworks.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Azure certifications (such as AZ-104, AZ-305, or AZ-400) are highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Hybrid Cloud environments and migration strategies.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, and Security Compliance frameworks.
• Knowledge of Database Services (Azure SQL, Cosmos DB) and Serverless computing (Azure Functions, Logic Apps).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
