Azure Architect

We are looking for a highly experienced Azure Architect with hands-on expertise in designing, implementing, and migrating cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will lead the end-to-end architecture, deployment, and migration of enterprise workloads to Azure while ensuring scalability, security, and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Azure Architecture & Solution Design

• Architect and design secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud solutions on Azure.

• Define the best mix of Azure services (Compute, Networking, Storage, Databases, AI, Security).

• Develop and implement high-availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) strategies.

• Design hybrid cloud and multi-cloud architectures, integrating on-premises and third-party services when needed.

2. Cloud Implementation & Deployment

• Lead the hands-on implementation of Azure cloud environments.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.

• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.

• Deploy containerized workloads using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Docker.

3. Cloud Migration & Modernization

• Plan and execute end-to-end migrations from on-premises to Azure using Azure Migrate.

• Lead workload transformation for cloud-native architecture using serverless (Azure Functions), microservices, and AKS.

• Perform application and database migration to Azure SQL, CosmosDB, and other managed services.

• Optimize cloud performance and cost efficiency during migration.

4. Security, Compliance & Governance

• Implement Azure security best practices, including IAM, RBAC, NSGs, encryption, and firewall configurations.

• Set up Azure Security Center, Microsoft Defender, and Sentinel for security monitoring.

• Establish governance frameworks using Azure Policy, Cost Management, and tagging strategies.

5. Performance Optimization & Cost Management

• Monitor Azure infrastructure using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.

• Implement autoscaling and load-balancing strategies for high-performance applications.

• Optimize Azure cost management and right-sizing of cloud resources.

6. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with engineering, operations, and security teams to ensure smooth cloud adoption.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

✅ Must have hands-on experience in Azure design, implementation, and migration.

✅ Strong knowledge of Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services.

✅ Experience in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates).

✅ Expertise in Azure networking (VNet, VPN, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers, Firewall, NSGs).

✅ Proficiency in DevOps, CI/CD, and automation tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, PowerShell, Python).

✅ Experience in containerization and Kubernetes (AKS, Docker, Helm).

✅ Knowledge of Azure cost optimization and security best practices.
