- Deploy, manage, and maintain cloud resources (e.g., EC2 instances, S3 storage, VPC, RDS, Lambda) on AWS Cloud, ensuring efficient, scalable, and secure infrastructure.
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK to automate and streamline resource provisioning and management.
- Design, implement, and optimize Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to facilitate fast, reliable software delivery using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS Code Pipeline.
- Set up and maintain monitoring solutions (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, Datadog, New Relic) to track the health, performance, and capacity of AWS cloud resources. Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring high availability and optimal resource utilization.
- Enforce and manage security policies and best practices to protect cloud infrastructure and sensitive data. Implement security measures like IAM policies, encryption, security groups, and Network ACLs to safeguard the environment.
- Establish and manage backup and disaster recovery plans, ensuring data integrity and availability in case of failures.
- Work closely with development, IT, and other cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues related to cloud infrastructure. Participate in on-call rotations to handle escalated incidents.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts (e.g., Bash, Python, or PowerShell) to streamline routine tasks and enhance operational efficiency.
- Document infrastructure processes, automation procedures, and troubleshooting steps to ensure smooth team collaboration. Share knowledge and best practices with peers and provide training when necessary.
- Implement solutions that ensure cloud infrastructure is both scalable and cost-effective, optimizing resource allocation and usage to minimize operational expenses.
- Ensure AWS infrastructure complies with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). Perform regular audits and vulnerability assessments.

- Proven experience managing and maintaining cloud resources in AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudFront, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, AWS Code Pipeline, or GitLab CI.
- Proficiency in automation and scripting using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Solid understanding of cloud security best practices (e.g., IAM, VPC security, encryption, and compliance standards).
- Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus).
- Knowledge of backup strategies and disaster recovery planning in a cloud environment.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage incidents under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
