AWS Data Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a talented Data Engineer for a full-time, month-to-month contract position. The ideal candidate should have at least one year of data engineering experience and strong hands-on expertise in SQL, Python, and AWS database technologies. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to scalable data pipelines and innovative AWS-based data storage architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage data tables and schemas in AWS services (e.g., DynamoDB, RDS, or Redshift) to support data storage and querying.
• Assist in developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines using AWS services (e.g., AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB).
• Work with AWS SDKs and APIs to automate data processing tasks and optimize workflows.
• Integrate and deploy serverless applications using AWS Lambda, ensuring efficient data processing and storage.
• Assist in creating data structures and performing transformations to ensure the consistency and quality of data.
• Assist with data analysis, and report generation, and provide data insights through CloudWatch monitoring and logging.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum 1 years of hands-on experience with AWS

• Extensive experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including RDS, DynamoDB, or Aurora.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation and deployment tasks.
• Proven ability to work independently and solve problems without direct supervision.
