AWS Data Engineer

Overview

Title: AWS Data Engineer

Location: Remote role

Duration: Contract to Hire

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days

Minimum Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, including more than 5 years of hands-on expertise with Databricks, AWS EMR, Redshift, and various database management systems.

• Advanced SQL RDBMS design and query building skills (Oracle, SQL Server, Databricks, Redshift etc.)

• Proficient in programming languages like Python and PySpark.

• Experience in data normalization, data modelling, Decoupled ETL, SQL modelling.

• Experience profiling, manipulating, and merging massive data set using Big Data technologies, preferably Databricks & AWS Analytics.

• Exposure to Unix or other shell scripting, job scheduling using Control-M or equivalent tools

• Attention to detail and logical based thinking in building, testing, and reviewing data pipelines containing multi-disciplinary information

• Commitment to building using established coding and naming standards

• Experience in guiding ad-hoc technical solutions to the team

Preferred:

• Languages: Python, PySpark, SparkSQL, SQL, JAVA

• Exposure to SAP ERP system, Salesforce.com, etc. is preferred

• Visualization tool experience, especially with Tableau or Power BI

• Working in larger organizations with established individual responsibilities & teams.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,242,695.99 per year
