Overview
We're seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to lead our team in designing, implementing, and deploying a cloud-based contact center solution on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS cloud architecture, experience with contact center technologies, and excellent leadership skills.
Technical Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement a scalable, secure, and compliant contact center architecture on AWS.
2. Lead the development and deployment of AWS services, such as Amazon Connect, Amazon Pinpoint, and Amazon Lex.
3. Ensure seamless integration with existing systems, such as CRM and telephony systems.
4. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and design documents.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and operations.
Leadership Responsibilities:
1. Lead a team of cloud engineers and provide technical guidance and mentorship.
2. Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
3. Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide project updates.
4. Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning within the team.
5. Ensure adherence to industry best practices, AWS Well-Architected Framework, and organizational standards.
Requirements:
Technical Requirements:
1. 2+ years of experience in AWS cloud architecture and engineering.
2. Strong experience with AWS services, including Amazon Connect, Amazon Pinpoint, and Amazon Lex.
3. Experience with contact center technologies, such as Genesys, Avaya, or Cisco.
4. Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, Java, or C#.
5. Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git.
Leadership Requirements:
1. 2+ years of experience in a leadership or management role.
2. Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
3. Experience with team leadership, mentoring, and coaching.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Nice to Have:
1. AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or equivalent.
2. Experience with DevOps practices, such as continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
3. Knowledge of containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
4. Familiarity with IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL.
