Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test suites to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will leverage Java, Selenium, TestNG, and JSystem to create robust and maintainable automated tests. Your contributions will directly impact the quality and efficiency of our software development lifecycle. This role involves working on a variety of projects, including web applications, APIs, and system integrations.
### Skills Required
- Java (Proficient in object-oriented programming principles and design patterns)
- Selenium WebDriver (Expertise in creating and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver)
- TestNG (Strong understanding of TestNG framework for test execution and reporting)
- JSystem (Experience with JSystem framework for automated system testing)
- Agile Methodologies (Experience working in Agile development environments)
- Test Case Design (Proficient in creating comprehensive and effective test cases)
- Analytical Skills (Ability to analyze test results and identify root cause of failures)
- Communication (Excellent written and verbal communication skills)
- Team Collaboration (Ability to work effectively within a team environment)
### Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and JSystem to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to identify defects and inconsistencies.
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and scalability of testing efforts.
- Collaborate with developers and other QA engineers to identify and resolve software defects.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
- Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes and methodologies.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that new features and bug fixes do not introduce new issues.
- Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-up meetings.
### Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation, with a focus on Java and Selenium.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing automated test frameworks.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with JSystem is highly preferred.
