Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Automation Tester Intern to join our Quality Assurance team. As an intern, you will work closely with our QA engineers and developers to create and execute automated test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of our software products. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software testing and automation within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and maintenance of automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks.
• Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and report defects and issues.
• Collaborate with QA engineers to understand the testing requirements and develop effective test strategies.
• Participate in the design and implementation of test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Support the integration of automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not compromised by new code changes.
• Document test results, create reports, and communicate findings to the development team.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in automation testing.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience with automated testing through coursework or personal projects.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Travis CI, or CircleCI.
• Exposure to performance and load testing tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹3,000.00 - ₹5,000.00 per month
