Automation Tester

Overview

Years of Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure that CoinDiary's platform meets the desired functionality, performance, and reliability requirements.
• Identify, log, and track defects and issues throughout the development and testing phases.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to prioritise and resolve defects and improve the overall quality of the platform.
• Review and analyse system specifications and requirements to provide feedback on testability, clarity, and completeness.
• Create and maintain testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, test data, and test results.
• Perform manual and automated testing, including functional, integration, system, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Continuously monitor and improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of testing efforts.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of software testing principles, best practices, and methodologies.
• Proficient in various testing tools and technologies, such as test management, defect tracking, and test automation tools.
• Familiarity with web application testing, including UI/UX, API, mobile, performance, and stress testing.
• Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Knowledge of programming languages and frameworks, such as JavaScript, Java, React, and Node.js, is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Relevant testing certifications, such as ISTQB or CSTE, are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

• Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
