Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with 1 to 4 years of experience in test automation, script development, and framework maintenance. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Java, Selenium WebDriver, and API testing, along with experience working in CI/CD environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Script Creation & Execution: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to ensure the quality of web applications and APIs.
• Bug Reporting & Collaboration: Identify, document, and report bugs/issues; collaborate with development teams to prioritize and address them.
• Automation Framework Maintenance: Maintain and enhance the existing test automation framework to accommodate changes in the product.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive the adoption of best practices and enhance automation strategies to improve testing efficiency.
• Integration with CI/CD: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality checks.

Required Skills:

• Programming Languages: Proficient in Java for automation scripting.
• Automation Tools: Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver and Appium for test automation.
• API Testing: Hands-on experience with API testing using tools like Postman and RestAssured.
• Test Frameworks: Familiar with test frameworks like TestNG and JUnit.
• Version Control: Proficient in Git for version control.
• Build and Dependency Management: Experience with Maven for project build and dependency management.
• CI/CD: Exposure to Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment.
• Database Knowledge: Proficient in SQL for validating data and ensuring correct functionality.

Preferred Tools & Technologies:

• Performance Testing: Exposure to JMeter for load/performance testing.
• Bug Tracking & Collaboration: Familiar with JIRA for bug tracking and task management.

Qualifications:

• 1 to 5 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
• Strong knowledge of testing best practices, methodologies, and SDLC processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
