Automation Tester

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our dynamic team. The SDET will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by developing automated test frameworks, designing and implementing test cases, and collaborating closely with our development and quality assurance teams.

Must-Have-Skills:

• Proven experience as an SDET, Software Test Engineer, or similar role, with a strong focus on automated testing.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
• Detail oriented, problem-solving abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• A proactive approach to learning new technologies and methodologies to stay current in the field.
  
  Good-to-Have Skills:
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Knowledge of security testing practices and tools.
  
  Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage for our software applications.
• Create and execute detailed test plans and test cases, both automated and manual, to validate software functionality, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with the development team to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipelines, ensuring timely and efficient testing processes.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues promptly.
• Conduct performance and security testing to ensure the software meets the required standards and is free from vulnerabilities.
• Set up and maintain test environments, including configuring necessary hardware, software, and network settings.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for test procedures, test cases, and test results.

Educational Qualifications & Work Experience:

• Bachelorʼs or Masterʼs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer in Test.
