About the Role

We are seeking an Automation Test Engineer with a passion for building reliable and efficient automated test solutions. In this role, you will design and execute test scripts using Playwright, TypeScript, and Cucumber. You must have at least 2.5 years of relevant experience, including hands-on exposure to CI/CD pipelines. Key Responsibilities

• Test Automation Development: Create and maintain automated test scripts exclusively using Playwright, TypeScript, and Cucumber.
• BDD Scenario Writing: Translate acceptance criteria into clear, concise Gherkin scenarios to ensure the product meets specified requirements.
• Continuous Integration: Integrate and manage tests within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) to streamline release processes.
• Test Execution & Debugging: Execute automated tests, analyze results, and swiftly investigate and resolve defects.
• Quality Advocacy: Promote testing best practices within the team, proactively suggesting improvements in test strategies and processes.
• Documentation: Produce comprehensive documentation for test processes, frameworks, and environments.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: At least 2.5 years in software test automation with demonstrated experience in end-to-end testing.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency with Playwright (mandatory).
• Advanced knowledge of TypeScript for writing and maintaining test scripts.
• Solid exposure to Cucumber or other BDD approaches.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Development Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or BDD practices.
• Problem-Solving: Strong debugging and analytical skills to isolate root causes quickly.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive approach to sharing knowledge and updates.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
