Automation Test Engineer

Overview

Part time - Remote Opportunity

3 to 5 years experience required after graduation.

We are looking for a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer with experience in testing full-stack applications built using MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js), Next.js, AWS, GitLab, and MongoDB. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing automated test scripts to ensure the robustness, performance, and security of our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications.
• Implement and manage test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Jest, Mocha, Chai, etc.
• Perform API automation testing using Postman, Newman, or REST Assured.
• Develop and execute performance testing using JMeter, k6, or Gatling.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines in GitLab to integrate automated tests.
• Conduct end-to-end, regression, and load testing using automation tools.
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing.
• Validate data integrity and performance of MongoDB queries using automated scripts.
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to improve testing strategies.
• Monitor test execution and generate reports for analysis and improvements.
• Ensure security testing is integrated into automation workflows.
• Utilize AWS services for testing and monitoring, including Lambda, S3, EC2, CloudWatch, and API Gateway.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in automation testing of full-stack web applications.
• Strong experience with test automation tools like Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, Jest, Mocha, or similar.
• Proficiency in writing automation scripts in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
• Hands-on experience with API automation testing.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitLab automation.
• Knowledge of AWS services and testing applications deployed on AWS.
• Strong understanding of MongoDB performance testing and database validation.
• Experience with performance and security automation testing.
• Excellent analytical and debugging skills.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with contract testing using Pact.js or similar tools.
• Knowledge of containerized testing environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with AI-based testing frameworks.
• Experience working with GraphQL API automation.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
