Automation Test Engineer

Overview

Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Tester to assess software quality through manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for identifying and reporting bugs, ensuring that applications function correctly, and improving overall product quality before release.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Review and analyze system specifications to develop effective test cases.

2. Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.

3. Identify, document, and track bugs using tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Trello.

4. Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

5. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to improve testing processes.

6. Report and document test results, providing recommendations for improvements.

7. Validate fixes and updates through re-testing.

8. Ensure compliance with industry best practices and company standards.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

2. Proven experience as a QA Tester or similar role in software development.

3. Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Selenium, JIRA).

4. Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) is a plus.

5. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

6. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with automation testing frameworks.

2. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

3. Understanding of API testing (Postman, REST, SOAP).

4. Experience in performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
