Automation Test Engineer

Overview

Job Summary: Under the guidance of Senior Engineers or Lead Engineer, this position will be responsible for implementing mission critical software tools as well as assist department in the adoption of Automated Testing. As part of a small, focused, and motivated team within SQA, use Software Development best practices to implement new tools per requirements provided, in addition to upgrade/maintenance of existing tools

. Essential Job Functions:

 Assist in developing web-based tools and automation framework to support SQA organization

 Assist with issue resolution in the area of Tools/Automation utilizing Jira defect management system

 Assist with enhancement of existing code/ databases as part of upgrade and maintenance functions

 Follow existing process for Tools development to improve quality/efficiency

 Assist with the pursuit of open source or commercial technologies to compliment development efforts

 Effectively communicate with internal/external team members and resolve defects in a timely manner

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

 Assist the SQA Department on special projects

 Assist Seniors in maintaining key contacts that have direct impact on Tools and

Automation areas.

Qualifications:

 Academic and/or working experience with C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Entity Framework

 Academic and/or working experience with JavaScript frameworks, HTML5, CSS3

 Academic and/or working experience with MS SQL Server

 Academic and/or working experience with Python scripting language

 Knowledge of Visual Studio and other Microsoft applications Education

 Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred Required Experience:

 1 - 2 year of relevant work experience in programming or Tools and Automation Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

 Working knowledge of computer operation and principles of computer hardware

 Working knowledge of Microsoft Web Technologies

Pay: From ₹500,000.00 per year
