Automation Test Engineer

Overview

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our Recon product. The ideal candidate should have experience in test automation frameworks, scripting languages, and software testing best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

# Design and develop automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, PostMan, REST-API.

# Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.

# Execute automated and manual test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and security.

# Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using tools like Jira.

# Implement and maintain test frameworks for UI & UI.

# Implement Jacoco to ensure the Code Coverage for a product.

# Continuously optimize test automation processes to improve efficiency and coverage.

# Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).

# Conduct regression testing to ensure new changes don’t break existing functionality.

# Stay updated with the latest testing trends, tools, and best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications:

# 3+ years of experience in automation testing.

# Proficiency in automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit).

# Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript.

# Experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured).

# Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git, Jenkins).

# Understanding of software testing methodologies (Agile, Scrum, SDLC, STLC).

Soft Skills:

# Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

# Good communication and teamwork abilities.

# Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environmen

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹900,000.00 - ₹1,700,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Chennai District, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Selenium Automation: 3 years (Required)
