Role - Automation Test Engineer

As a Technical QA Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and analysis. Your role will be pivotal in collaborating within the technology team to identify issues, recommend solutions, and support the development lifecycle from a quality assurance perspective, ensuring the sustained success of our software development.

You’ll spend time on the following:

• Analysing and understanding test requirements to define test strategies.
• Identifying test scenarios, preparing test cases, and creating test data.
• Developing and executing both manual and automated tests to ensure software quality.
• Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs and defects.
• Collaborating with the development team to understand and resolve issues.
• Conducting code reviews and providing feedback to ensure best practices in coding and testing.
• Monitoring testing phases and logging detailed test results.
• Performing functional testing for release cycles, including the creation and execution of test cases.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards for software quality.
• Providing technical QA support and guidance to other team members.
• Communicating with other teams and business stakeholders to review requirements, describe software product features, and discuss test plans and product strategy.

You are our ideal candidate if you have:

• Have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in software testing, automation testing and quality assurance, ideally in HR Tech, HRIS, or SaaS.
• Have experience with both manual and automation testing.
• Are proficient in using test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Have a strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Are familiar with various types of testing (functional, regression, integration, performance).
• Have experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP, LoadRunner).
• Have a basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, SQL).
• Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Have strong attention to detail.
• Have effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Can work independently and in a team environment.
