Seeking a highly skilled Python Automation Test Engineer with expertise in the Storage Domain. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Python automation, shell scripting, and test frameworks like Robot/Selenium, along with expertise in OpenBMC test automation. The role requires hands-on experience in DevOps (CI/CD/CT) and GitLab API-based programming.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Python and Shell scripting for storage domain testing.
- Implement and maintain test automation frameworks such as Robot Framework and Selenium.
- Develop test cases and automate test execution for OpenBMC.
- Work on GitLab APIs-based programming to support CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate automation into CI/CD/CT pipelines.
- Ensure the quality and performance of embedded, virtualization, storage, cloud, telecom, and networking solutions.
- Troubleshoot and debug automation test scripts, ensuring maximum efficiency.
- Document test processes, frameworks, and automation best practices.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and improve automation coverage.
- Maintain and enhance test environments for robust and scalable automation testing.
- Strong Python programming skills with a focus on test automation.
- Shell scripting experience in Linux environments.
- Expertise in Robot Framework / Selenium for test automation.
- Experience in OpenBMC and its test automation.
- GitLab APIs-based programming experience.
- DevOps experience (CI/CD/CT) is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of Linux operating systems.
- Expertise in at least one of the following domains: Embedded, Virtualization, Storage, Cloud, Telecom, or Networking.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps Qualifications :
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science.
- Industry certifications related to automation, storage, or DevOps.
- Experience with additional test management tools and frameworks.
