Overview
- Designing, coding, and unit testing business code in the new architecture.
- Migrating existing functionality from the existing codebase to the new architecture.
- (CTL is a bespoke in-house business-oriented development language. Training will be provided to the successful individual in this role)
- Documenting all development tasks, diagrams, and other artifacts.
- Timely completion of activities, adhering to existing process and quality standards.
- Participate in team discussions, providing early escalation of issues and input into the change management process.
- Responsibility to develop quick to market, high quality IT solutions within an agile environment.
- Engage proactively with stakeholders and other cross-functional team members in the development of IT solutions.
- Work within a team of developers assisting in:
- Timely completion of task assigned.
- Effective technology usage for problem solving.
- Introduce Innovation to solve business challenges.
- Lead and motivate the team to deliver quality.
- Interact with global teams/stakeholders.
- Ensure timely completion of activities by adhering with the agreed processes & quality standards for self & the team.
- Participate in day-to-day meetings, providing early escalation of issues and input into change management.

- Background in Information Technology, with exposure to mainstream development language including modern development methodologies, patterns, and practices.
- Strong Programming skills/familiarity with C# with 7+ years of programming experience
- Previous exposure to Visual BASIC, VBA, VBScript, VB.net would be advantageous.
- Strong SQL, debugging skills, low level database skills.
- Exposure to Development Methodologies - Waterfall, Agile.
- Team Leadership skills and experience to manage a mid-sized team of 8-10 developers.
- Extremely adaptable and quick to pick up new business concepts within a unique business environment.
