Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud platforms, automation, and DevOps practices, with a strong focus on Azure, PaaS, SaaS, and CI/CD pipelines. This role involves managing cloud infrastructure, enhancing reliability, and supporting business-critical applications.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud platforms, automation, and DevOps practices, with a strong focus on Azure, PaaS, SaaS, and CI/CD pipelines. This role involves managing cloud infrastructure, enhancing reliability, and supporting business-critical applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Infrastructure Management:
- Deploy, manage, and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Monitor cloud environments for high availability, scalability, and security.
- Infrastructure Automation:
- Automate provisioning and management using Terraform, PowerShell, YAML.
- Implement and maintain serverless and containerized deployments (AKS).
- Security and Compliance:
- Implement security measures: IAM policies, firewalls, encryption.
- Ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards.
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
- Monitor cloud resources, resolve performance and availability issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
- Collaboration and Support:
- Work with cross-functional teams for application deployments.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Proactive Optimization:
- Identify and implement performance optimizations and cost reduction strategies.
- Drive innovation with new tools and technologies.
Must-Have Skills:
- Azure Cloud Services (PaaS, SaaS, IaaS solutions)
- CI/CD Pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab)
- MongoDB, Postgres (Database management and optimization)
- Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) (Containerized deployments)
- Scripting Knowledge: JSON, PowerShell, Bash, YAML
- Cloud Networking and Security (IAM, Firewalls, Encryption)
- DevOps/Agile Environments
- Infrastructure Automation (Provisioning and management)
- Experience with AWS or Google Cloud (Beyond Azure)
- Financial Services Industry Experience
- Experience in System Administration (2nd/3rd line support)
- Serverless Infrastructure (Azure Functions, Logic Apps)
- Experience with containerized applications and microservices architecture
- Knowledge of Cloud Cost Optimization
- 3-5 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, with a strong focus on Azure Cloud Services, Infrastructure Automation, and DevOps practices.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
