Associate Data Scientist

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Health Data Scientist with a strong foundation in data analysis and a keen interest in health research. The ideal candidate will have an MCA qualification, basic knowledge of Stata/ R + Python, and experience in designing data collection tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret complex datasets related to health research.
• Develop, and maintain data collection tools for research studies.
• Perform data cleaning, preprocessing, and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to gather requirements and provide insights.
• Generate reports and visualization dashboards to communicate findings .

Qualifications and Skills:

• Master of Computer Applications (MCA) or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of Python programming for data manipulation and analysis.
• Familiarity with at least one data collection tool (e.g., REDCap, ODK, KoboToolbox).
• Experience in health research or a related field.
• Understanding of statistical methods and tools for data analysis - (Stata or R software)

Preferred Qualifications (Not Mandatory):

• Knowledge of SQL or other database management systems.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks or libraries.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ?40,000.00 per month
