Position Overview
We are looking for a talented Senior PHP Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge web applications and portals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality web applications and portals using PHP.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
- Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable PHP code.
- Manage and optimize databases for maximum performance and scalability.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Senior PHP Developer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks (such as Laravel, Symfony).
- Extensive experience with CMS platforms, particularly WordPress.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery).
- Experience with database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
- Understanding of MVC design patterns.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., WooCommerce).
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
