
Overview
The Product Architect is a senior technical leader responsible for designing and shaping the overall architecture of a product. This role focuses on creating high-level product strategies, defining technical solutions, and ensuring the scalability, performance, and sustainability of the product throughout its lifecycle. The Product Architect works closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, UX/UI, and business stakeholders, to deliver innovative solutions that meet both user needs and business goals. Also helping teams in design related queries and debugging.
To design and implement system solutions, propose alternatives from the process, and change business viewpoints to best implement standard solutions.
Specifies and designs effective end-to-end solutions, through the high as well as low level design of architecture, to meet customer needs in a market positioning perspective.
Applies solution architecture standards processes and principles, to create and maintain a solution's integrity over time, including verification that the solution meets the client requirements.
Develops the full scope of the solution, working across organizations to achieve workable solutions.
Research, design, plans, develop, and evaluates an effective solution in specialized domains to meet customer’s requirements and outcomes, thanks to high as well as low-level design of architecture.
Solves highly complex technical problems and develops innovative solutions with impact on the business.
Good technical skills supporting the team members working in this area.
Good communication skills to support global business teams.
8-12 years of relevant experience in the telecom industry with an Engineering Graduation or an equivalent degree.
Experience with Cloud Native, Microservices, Containers and Virtualization Technologies like Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), Helm, Ansible, Envoy/Istio, Consul and Open Source Integration
Expert in Design and Development using Cloud Native Principles with Analytical and debugging skills.
Expert with Cloud Native, Microservices, Containers, and Virtualization Technologies.
Exposure to Agile development methodologies.
Working knowledge on secure protocols ( TLS/DTLS/SSH ), Encryption methodology, Ciphers etc..
Knowledge on RFI/RFQ/RFP tendering process
Proficiency in Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, and exposure to platforms like RedHat OpenShift and VMware.
System Software & OS Concepts – Strong knowledge of operating systems, including processes & threads, memory management, and synchronization.
Data Transformation & APIs – Experience in data transformation for analytical processes and working with APIs.
Software Development & Automation – Familiarity with continuous integration (Jenkins, SVN, Git/Gerrit), software development in Linux/UNIX (Java/Spring Boot), and automation using CI/CD pipelines.
