Experience: 2-4 years
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automated API test scripts using REST Assured.
- Perform functional, performance, and integration testing on RESTful APIs.
- Work closely with developers and product teams to ensure API quality and stability.
- Develop test strategies, create test cases, and ensure comprehensive API coverage.
- Debug API failures, analyze logs, and report defects effectively.
- Hands-on experience in REST Assured for API test automation.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP methods, and JSON/XML.
- Experience with Postman, Swagger, or SoapUI for manual API validation.
- Good knowledge of test automation frameworks like TestNG/JUnit.
- Familiarity with SQL databases for backend validation.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Docker) is a plus.
