Key Responsibilities

• App Development: Develop, test, and maintain Android applications using Java.
• UI/UX Integration: Collaborate with the design team to implement intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that provide a seamless user experience.
• Code Quality: Write clean, scalable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices in Android development.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and other technical issues to enhance app performance.
• Bug Fixing: Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, ensuring timely resolution of bugs.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver feature-rich mobile applications.
• Code Review: Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to coding standards.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in Android development, and proactively implement new technologies in app development.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Android development, with a strong portfolio of Android apps in the Google Play Store.
• Languages: Proficient in Java.
• Android SDK: Strong knowledge of the Android SDK, Android lifecycle, and core libraries.
• UI/UX Principles: Familiarity with UI/UX principles and experience working with modern Android UI frameworks (e.g., Jetpack Compose, Material Design).
• API Integration: Experience in integrating RESTful APIs and working with JSON/XML data.
• Version Control: Familiarity with Git and GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket for version control.
• Unit Testing: Experience with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD) in Android.
• Tools & IDE: Proficient in using Android Studio, Android Debug Bridge (ADB), and other essential development tools.
• Multithreading: Knowledge of concurrency in Android and experience using background services (e.g., WorkManager, AsyncTask, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Jetpack Libraries (Room, Navigation, LiveData, ViewModel, etc.).
• Familiarity with Flutter or other cross-platform frameworks is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI.
• Knowledge of Firebase and mobile analytics platforms.
• Experience with Google Play Console for app deployment and updates.
• Strong understanding of security best practices for mobile applications.
• Good understanding of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
