Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer with 4-5 years of hands-on experience in building high-performance, scalable mobile applications. You will work closely with our design and development teams to create seamless and intuitive Android applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and maintain high-performance Android applications.

Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend developers to create seamless user experiences.

Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.

Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.

Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and best practices.

Troubleshoot and debug applications to enhance performance and user experience.

Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in mobile development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

4-5 years of experience in Android app development.

Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.

Hands on experience with Android SDK, Jetpack components, and MVVM architecture.

Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries.

Proficiency in Git and version control systems.

Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and Material Design.

Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.

Experience with Firebase, push notifications, and analytics tools is a plus.

Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Someone who is proactive and self managed to work in remote teams.

Nice-to-Have:

Experience with CI/CD pipelines for Android development.

Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Knowledge of like Flutter or React Native is a plus.

Experience with Jetpack Compose.

Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud.

Previous experience in a software development firm or startup environment.
