Android App Developer Intern

Overview

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain mobile applications for iOS and/or Android platforms, ensuring high performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define, design, and implement new features or enhancements.

Test and deploy applications on the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android) with attention to detail on user experience.

Stay updated on the latest mobile technologies, industry trends, frameworks, and best practices to apply in app development.

Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications to optimize performance and resolve bugs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

Proven experience in mobile app development

Strong knowledge of mobile UI/UX design principles and mobile frameworks.

Experience with RESTful APIs to connect mobile apps to back-end services.

Knowledge of mobile application architectures

Experience with testing frameworks and tools, such as XCTest, Espresso, or other testing and debugging tools.

Understanding of mobile app deployment processes for both iOS and Android platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cross-platform mobile development frameworks like Flutter, React Native, or Xamarin.

Knowledge of cloud services integration

Experience with push notifications, cloud messaging, and app performance optimization techniques.
