Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Java Fullstack Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the full software development lifecycle, from conceptualization and design to implementation, testing, and deployment of robust and scalable web applications. You will primarily focus on backend development using Java while also contributing significantly to the frontend using modern JavaScript frameworks, with a strong preference for Vue.js.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend applications using Java (Java 8 or later).
• Develop and implement user-friendly and responsive frontend interfaces using Vue.js (or Angular).
• Design and implement efficient database schemas and write optimized SQL queries and stored procedures in PostgreSQL.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs for seamless communication between frontend and backend components.
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud infrastructure, utilizing services such as EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, and API Gateway.
• Participate actively in all phases of the Agile/Scrum development process, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and best practices in Java, JavaScript frameworks, and cloud technologies.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience (5-10 years) in backend development with strong proficiency in Java (Java 8 or later).
• Hands-on experience with frontend technologies, particularly Vue.js. Experience with Angular is also considered, but a strong willingness and aptitude to work with Vue.js is essential.
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL database design principles and demonstrated ability to write optimized SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Practical experience working with AWS cloud services, including but not limited to EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, and API Gateway. Familiarity with other AWS services is a plus.
• Experience in designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with Git for version control and collaborative development workflows.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
  
  

Preferred Skills & Qualifications (Nice To Have)

• Experience with other JavaScript frameworks or libraries.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks for both frontend and backend.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
