About the team:

Our Product and Technology teams are the Worldpayers behind the game-changing products and digital experiences we’re best known for. Striving for better, they never stand still — delivering impactful innovations that power transactions across the world.

The Scrum Master will be responsible for managing and leading the team during sprints, ensuring all their needs are met, work is being completed, and goals are being met. This role involves overseeing the various cross functional initiatives and helping streamlines the processes, while bringing out efficiencies.

What you’ll own

  • Host all scrum ceremonies and meetings, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

  • Facilitate clear communication among team members and stakeholders.

  • Identify and remove any obstacles that may hinder the team's progress.

  • Provide guidance and support to team members on Agile practices and principles.

  • Track the team's progress and ensure that sprint goals are met.

  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure their needs and expectations are met.

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

  • Collect and analyze metrics to provide insights into team performance.

  • Assist the Product Owner with maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog.

  • Address and resolve conflicts within the team.

  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance team skills and knowledge.

  • Ensure the team adheres to Agile practices and principles.

  • Promote collaboration between cross-functional teams.

  • Manage changes to the project scope and ensure that changes are communicated effectively.

Where you’ll own it

You’ll own it in our modern Bangalore/Indore hub. With hubs in the heart of city centers and tech capitals, things move fast in APAC. We pride ourselves on being an agile and dynamic collective, collaborating with different teams and offices across the globe

What you bring

  • In-depth knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures, and guidelines, along with various IT project methodologies and life cycles.

  • Familiarity with technology platforms and engineering disciplines.

  • Proven experience in an Agile environment, with expertise in relevant processes and methodologies.

  • Extensive experience with Agile, project management, and collaboration tools.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite solutions for data analysis and reporting.
