Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Agile Process Manager or Agile Data Analyst to join our software development team. In this role, you will play a key part in cultivating an Agile mindset across the organization, improving process management, and collecting and organizing critical data that will drive better decision-making for the team. You will work closely with product/project managers, scrum teams, and other key stakeholders to ensure that the teams performance data is accessible, actionable, and drives continuous improvement.
You will also help the organization develop and implement processes for Evidence-Based Management (EBM), enabling teams to focus on the most important goals, track progress, and make informed decisions based on real data. This role is ideal for someone passionate about Agile principles, data-driven decision-making, and fostering an environment of continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cultivation of Agile Mindset
- Promote and support the adoption of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or other frameworks) within the team and across the organization.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g., retrospectives, sprint planning, standups) and encourage a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.
- Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile principles, helping them develop a mindset focused on flexibility, iterative improvement, and delivering value.
- Work with teams to align their workflows and culture with Agile practices, guiding them through challenges and advocating for the benefits of Agile transformation.
2. Process Management
- Oversee and improve Agile processes, ensuring that teams are working efficiently, effectively, and within established frameworks.
- Continuously analyze and optimize Agile workflows, identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with Product Owners/Project managers, and Development teams to ensure that processes are aligned with organizational goals.
- Ensure that processes are transparent and allow for clear visibility into team performance and progress.
3. Data Collection & Organization for Decision Making
- Design and implement systems to collect, organize, and manage key performance metrics across the software development process (e.g., cycle time, lead time, team velocity, defect rates, etc.).
- Identify data sources and methods to capture relevant data, ensuring it is accurate, timely, and consistent.
- Provide regular data reporting to key stakeholders (e.g., product teams, leadership) to drive decision-making, team reflections, and continuous learning.
- Work with data analysts or other stakeholders to ensure that data is aligned with the overall business objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools that enable teams to visualize key metrics in a way that supports learning and improvement.
4. Enable Evidence-Based Management (EBM)
- Promote the use of Evidence-Based Management (EBM) within the team, ensuring that decisions are based on data rather than assumptions.
- Help create and maintain EBM metrics that reflect the organizations ability to deliver value, such as:
- Current Value (CV): Measuring the current benefits delivered by the product.
- Time-to-Market (T2M): Measuring how quickly value is delivered.
- Ability to Innovate (AI): Measuring the teams capacity to improve or add new features.
- Risk Reduction and Opportunity Enablement (RROE): Identifying and managing risks and opportunities for value delivery.
- Regularly review and analyze metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Facilitate retrospective discussions using data-driven insights to highlight areas for growth, improvement, and adaptation.
5. Facilitation & Continuous Improvement
- Drive regular retrospectives and help the team identify and prioritize areas for process improvement.
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to enable reflection and learning based on collected data.
- Build a culture of experimentation and data-driven decision-making, encouraging the team to adapt based on insights.
- Foster a collaborative environment for sharing lessons learned and best practices.
6. Stakeholder Communication & Reporting
- Communicate Agile process metrics and improvements to stakeholders at all levels (team members, leadership, product owners).
- Present data insights in an easy-to-understand format, helping non-technical stakeholders make informed decisions.
- Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations that track progress towards Agile goals, such as improved team performance, reduced cycle times, and increased delivery speed.
Qualifications

- 3+ years of experience working in an Agile environment, either as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or in a similar role.
- Proven experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting in an Agile context.
- Experience working with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana, or others).
- Experience implementing Evidence-Based Management (EBM) principles is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong data analysis skills, with experience in creating and managing data visualizations.
- Solid understanding of Agile metrics (e.g., cycle time, velocity, lead time) and how to use them to drive improvement.
- Ability to facilitate cross-functional discussions and retrospectives.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex data insights in simple terms.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
