Role: Product Analyst / Business Analyst

Location: Bangalore (WFO Hybrid model - 3 days Bangalore office of the client)

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to lead our Regulatory Reporting initiatives, focusing on Liquidity and Basel Reporting. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of regulatory frameworks, excellent communication skills, and a working knowledge of SQL. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product vision, prioritize features, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Must-Have:

• 8-11 years of experience in a Product Owner role, specifically within US Regulatory Reporting in the banking sector ( Ex: FR2052a, FRY 14s, FRY9C etc)
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., Basel III, liquidity regulations) and reporting requirements (BASEL, CCAR, LCR, FFIEC (etc.).
• Basic knowledge of SQL and experience working with data management teams.
• Should have exposure to Data Governance
• Proven experience in Agile methodologies and familiarity with tools such as JIRA or Confluence.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex regulatory concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Good to Have:

Technology Background on Data Management is a big plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for Regulatory Reporting, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements for Liquidity and Basel Reporting solutions.
• Work closely with data teams to ensure accurate and timely data delivery for reporting needs.
• Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and product specifications to guide development teams.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Monitor product performance and user feedback to inform continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Provide training and support to users on reporting tools and processes.
